Technique Mirage hit a Grand-Slam in San Francisco during the MLB All-Star Game. MLB approached Technique Mirage with an idea of projections on the center tower of the San Francisco Bay Bridge. The 230′ tall projections could be seen from Oakland, San Francisco and Sausalito. The MLB client said, “The projections were the hit of All-Star Week”.
Technique Mirage used their Mobile-Image Operator & Projector mount and a 45kw generator. All of the equipment was hoisted and placed on the stern of a tugboat. The operator continuously maneuvered the projector to compensate for the boats movement caused by ocean wake and incredible San Francisco Bay currents at the Bay Bridge. The presentation was an interesting challenge that proved to be spectacular.
“I’m ready to do it again,” says Robert Collier, Technique Mirage.
